Chiara Schrader

Chiara Schrader is a Junior Research Fellow at the Clingendael Security Unit, primarily working on the Strategic Foresight and Intelligence Program. Her research focuses on how international trends and developments impact national and European security, utilising methods such as horizon scanning and scenario development. In addition, Chiara has a broad interest in hybrid threats, intelligence cultures, and international security.

Chiara holds a BSc in International Relations including a minor in Journalism, as well as an MSc in National Security and Intelligence, both from Leiden University. She previously worked as an intern for both the Security & Defence and the Strategic Foresight programmes.
